Miguel A. De La Torre

Miguel A. De La Torre is a scholar-activist, tenured as professor of social ethics and Latino/a studies at Iliff School of Theology. In 2021, he received the AAR Martin E. Marty Public Understanding of Religion Award.
De La Torre has authored/edited over thirty-five books, including Shifting Climates, Shifting People (2022) and Gonna Trouble the Water: Ecojustice, Water, and Environmental Racism (2021) from The Pilgrim Press. His forthcoming book is Food Fight: How What We Eat Is Weaponized (2024).
