Praise God from Whom All Blessings Flow | Doxologies for the Church

  • $9.95

For all who seek to live and grow,
to search and find, to ask and know;
unfolding journey, never done:
we sing your glory, Holy One!
(Mary Luti)

New resource for worship planning!

Praise God in all seasons!

There's more than one doxology in the world! Who knew?? Now you do!

In many Christian congregations, the familiar tune of Old Hundredth brings us to our feet as we sing:

Praise God from whom all blessings flow!
Praise God all creatures here below!

But Old Hundredth isn't the only tune, "Praise God from whom" aren't the only words, and the offering collection isn't the only moment in worship when we might be moved to sing God's praise. There are praises to be sung after a baptism, during Pride Month, or at a Blessing of the Animals service! There are praises to be sung for Christmas, during Maundy Thursday's footwashing service, or on Holy Humor Sunday:

For weird, surprising, comic things,
for curveballs life so often slings
that tickle, startle, and amaze:
your funny bone, O God, we praise!
(Donna Schaper)

Let the Stillspeaking writers and contributors help your congregation burst into praise with new lyrics for a wide range of seasons and celebrations.

Praise God from Whom All Blessings Flow includes more than 100 original doxology texts, all with recommended tunes.

Text correction: The doxology on page 51, "Acknowledging the Aging Process," is incorrectly attributed to Mary Luti. It is written by Donna Schaper.
